Services our obstetrician-gynecologists (OB/GYNs) provide
We offer compassionate care before you conceive and throughout your pregnancy.
Preconception care
For some women, physically preparing for pregnancy may take a few months, but for others, it could take longer. Before getting pregnant, we encourage you to schedule preconception visit to talk with your OB/GYN about your pregnancy goals.
During a preconception visit, we discuss your health history and any potential medical conditions you may have. It is also an opportune time for you to bring up concerns or ask any pressing questions. Overall, your doctor will want to talk about vaccinations, lifestyle, medications and general health and wellness and how they all play a part in optimal conception.
Preparing for birth
We provide routine obstetric and maternity care, as well as specialized services for high-risk pregnancies. Before you deliver your baby, you may explore our educational resources to enhance your confidence in the childbirth process, as well as bringing your baby home.
Physical therapy
Pregnancy and delivery bring extraordinary changes to the body. Postpartum muscle weakness, if not addressed, may become symptomatic later in life as incontinence, prolapse, pelvic discomfort or back pain. As such, pre-birth physical therapy can help with:
- Back or sciatica pain
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
- Groin pain
- Hip pain
- Neck pain
- Tailbone pain
- Varicose vein discomfort
To correct misalignment, release muscle tension or stretch tight muscles, we may recommend treatment options such as myofascial massage, gentle movement, physical exercise or brace fitting.
