Infertility
If you've been unable to conceive a child within 12 months of actively trying, reproductive endocrinologists may be able to help. To find the source of infertility, endocrinologists check hormonal function and imbalances in men and women. They may order services for you, such as medications, medical procedures or other therapies to aid conception.
How we support your reproductive journey
Since our hospital's founding decades ago, we have been fortunate to become a trusted regional leader in reproductive healthcare. This begins with our supportive team, who provide services in a warm, friendly environment where you can learn more about your options and pursuing treatment.
What causes infertility in women
Infertility can come in many forms. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), approximately 12% of women in the U.S. ages 15 to 44 have difficulty getting pregnant or carrying a pregnancy to term. Most women who have difficulties getting pregnant after trying for six to 12 months have a diagnosable condition that may make it difficult to conceive without treatment.
Female infertility may be a result of:
- Age
- Complications with the cervix
- Damage to fallopian tubes or uterus
- Difficulties with ovulation
- Endometriosis
- Gynecological cancers
- Hormonal disorders, such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
- Reoccurring pregnancy loss
- Uterine abnormalities

Adoption and surrogacy
If you're expanding your family through surrogacy or adoption, we are happy to provide support and accommodations for both the carrier and you, the intended parent(s). A perinatal navigator will be by your side during this process for education, guidance and support, beginning at the start of your journey and continuing until the moment your baby goes home with you.
Education and support
As part of our commitment to guiding you through your fertility journey, we host monthly fertility support groups and bi-monthly seminars. Topics we cover include infertility causes and treatment options, adoption and surrogacy. These educational events are free to the public.
